@roadwarrior144 No other cars around? I saw other cars. A small bump in the road, a pothole, blown tire, an animal running out in the road. Anything could’ve happened. If he had clipped a minivan full of kids and caused their death how would the driver feel? When you’re traveling at almost the length of a football field per second you do not have time to react. Add the fact that he has no safety equipment like roll cage, firesuit, helmet, etc. and it’s a foolish stunt.

@rossluzz The driver assumed those risks the instant he decided put his foor down. Any and all negative consequences would rest on the shoulders of the driver, and his alone. I want to point out that it was after the oncoming car passed, there were no other motorists on the road. I also want to point out, all of his attention was focused on driving and yes, talking to his passenger. Not playing with hiahns stereo, talking/texting on his phone.

@rossluzz People drive like this on the autobahn everyday, and yet the autobahn has fewer crashes per mile than we do. It’s my earnest belief this man poses less of a risk doing this with next to no one around doing 206 than the average idiot screwing off behind the wheel with their starbucks drink, on the phone, playing with their ipod doing 65 on a crowded freeway.

@rossluzz There is a difference between an idiot, and an idiot who knows what he’s doing. This driver waited for a straight stretch of road with no other cars around, he drove on the center of the road to allow prevent going off the road if in the event he loses control. If there were, he would not drive the way he did, simply to cause others to crash. He harmed, endangered, killed no one. Ross, if you had a LP640 you’re saying you wouldn’t drive faster than the posted 65 MPH limit?
