You’ll probably recognize these 4 crazy Finnish guys from their tv-show, called ‘The Dudesons’ in which they do all kinds of crazy stuff. Well, this year they are participating in the Gumball 3000 rally. I filmed then when they arrived at Place Vendome in Paris. And off course, they were doing what they do best: draw attention and act crazy! You can hear Jarppi singing ‘Love is in the air’ and Jukka revving up the engine of their ‘Dudesons Ambulance’ which is actually a Cadillac Escalade, and they’re all dressed up as… Yeah as what? U-2 pilots driving chase cars ensuring the safety of their fellow U-2 pilots as they launch or land the aircraft. The U-2 is a single-seat, single-engine, high-altitude/near space reconnaissance and surveillance aircraft providing signals, imagery and electronic measurements and signature intelligence. The plane, which flies up to altitudes of 70000 feet, is also capable of gathering a variety of imagery, including multi-spectral electro-optic, infrared, and synthetic aperture radar products which can be stored or sent to ground exploitation centers. In addition, it also supports high-resolution, broad-area synoptic coverage provided by the optical bar camera producing traditional film products, which are developed and analyzed after landing.
