A suspect in a Chrysler 300 led law enforcement on a circular chase around Irwindale and Monrovia, reaching freeway speeds in neighborhoods at times, before ditching the car and being tackled by officers. The chase started at 10:17 pm on the Foothill (210) Freeway when a CHP officer spotted the Chrysler doing 100 miles per hour, and ended at 10:55 pm with the suspect in custody in Duarte, said California Highway Patrol Officer Patrick Kimball. At one point the Chrysler was going 90 mph eastbound on Huntington Drive in Monrovia, through stop signs and at least one red light.
