5th generation (1999–2002)

The Nissan Skyline GTR cars which were built during the years 1999-2002 are called as the 5th generation cars of the Skyline GTR series. All the earlier models of the Skyline GTR cars are pretty good looking for all angles. And the 5th generaton series is much better in all respects than many super cars of even this time. These cars are pretty stylish in all respect. There is no problem with this car when looking from the front side as well as from the rear side. It is perfect from all sides. It seems like the engineers behind these 5th generation cars from Nissan had worked really well for designing and bringing up such a good model.

The GT-BNR34 (also called as R34 GTR)and the GT-R V-spec are the two models in the 5th generation series of Nissan Skyline GTR. R34 GTR is with an LCD display and it makes the driver aware of the condition of the engine at any particular moment. The multifunctional LCD is in the dashboard and is one of the best things that we can see inside this cool car from Nissan. Not just that, there are various other things that the driver can get to know right from the LCD screen while driving, such as pressure, oil temperature, water temperature etc. These are just a few features of the multifunctional 5.8 inch LCD screen of the R34 GTR model of Nissan.

The GT-R V-spec is also with a similar LCD display and it has got some extra features that are not found in the other model. Using the LCD display the driver can make out the exhaust and intake gas temperatures at any moment during the course of his driving. I don’t know whether that would be benefitting the driver in any way. Sometimes it may be of use to the experienced drivers. Anyways, still features are features and these are things that makes some cars better than the rest.
