I threw in a clip of the LP640 coupe hitting a dip by a bridge and getting all 4 tires airborne and landing sideways as well. Some pretty big thunderstorms dropped a bolt of lightening about 200 yards in front of our car with the Exotics Rally GTR right behind us, didn’t get it on film but definitely a moment the 4 of us there will never forget. We placed 3rd to the checkpoint and 7th to Montgomery. Formula DRIFT kicks-off the 8th championship season on the Toyota Grand Prix of Long Beach Street Course. 2011 will be Formula DRIFT’s 6th consecutive year at the famous Street Course. The expanded 2-day event will again be one week prior to the Toyota Grand Prix of Long Beach.Round 1: Streets of Long Beach will kick-off the 2011 Championship season in style with new cars, new drivers, and all the sideways excitement that Formula DRIFT is known for.
